Who is Maryann Forrester on True Blood?
Rest assured, she’s not the philanthropic social worker she pretends to be. Maryann has an agenda.
Although I don’t know her, I’m fairly sure she’s a shape shifter. If you’ll remember the “flickering” scene in her back yard you’ll know that during that scene she was focusing on her pig. Shape shifters need a focus in order to manifest themselves into other creatures. Sam explained this to Sookie once she discovered his secret.
I believe Maryann’s purpose in befriending Tara is simple but very evil. Maryann is attempting to shift into a human form. She seeks out those who are alone in the world and entices them with her wealth and hospitality. She makes sure they’re totally disconnected from their former friends and family. Remember how Maryann’s servant removed Tara’s phone message from Sam? It’s all part of Maryann’s plan to isolate Tara.
I may be wrong, but I also believe the foot that we saw in the last episode was that of Tara’s mother, not Lafayette. I believe Maryann got rid of Tara’s mother in an attempt to remove Tara’s family ties. I also believe Maryann played a role in Lafayette’s disappearance. I’m not sure what she’s done with him, but he may be grievously injured.
I plan to keep my eye on Maryann Forrester.
True Blood
A true Southern gentleman, Bill is a romantic at heart. He is an introspective creature who until recently has adopted the life of a loner. I have observed his actions and mannerisms around his human companion Sookie and I find his feelings to be sincere in nature although subject to external inducements.
Bill and I are platonic friends that spent a few years traveling through South America. I believe this is in part why he loves Louisiana so much – he finds the hot, humid climate very comforting. He also has a history in the area – it was where he was turned.
I predict that Bill and Sookie’s relationship will suffer ups and downs because of Sookie’s strong-willed impulsiveness and Bill’s tendency to keep things close at heart. You don’t survive as many years as Bill by revealing all of your secrets.
Eric Northman:
Tall, blond, and broad shouldered, Eric and I spent many intense nights together during my time in Scandanavia. Eric has a calculating mind that serves him well in his businesses. His heart is not easily given although many human females would gladly provide theirs as well as other parts of their bodies.
A few years ago Eric set up an establishment for attracting humans interested in observing our kind. He called it Fangtasia. Unfortunately tasting is not allowed on the premises but there are other amusements to be had. Eric is making a considerable sum of money from the place and my recent visit explains why. Humans pay money just to enter the place. They also pay to be photographed with those of our kind. Although many of my associates would be disgusted by the groveling displayed there I found it to be just another example of the human spirit coveting that which they are not. We are stronger and faster than humans and they aspire to be like us. Such is the reason our blood is so revered and sought after.
I predict Eric will do well with his business in Shreveport.
