2. We do not review every book that we receive from publishers or authors. If we don’t think our readers will like the book, it doesn’t get reviewed. [In other words, if the book contains too may tips on how to kill our kind, we won't review it. Why would we make things easy for you?]
3. After free books have been reviewed (or not) they are usually donated or given away. [And we sometimes use them to lure your kind into dark alleys. The Sookie Stackhouse books have been particularly handy in that respect. We use them over and over again for this purpose. In other words, we're recycling and helping to protect the environment. 4. We sometimes give away free prizes via book contests. We use our own money to purchase many of the prizes; in those instances the prizes are mailed by us to the contest winners. We also run book contests in which prizes are provided by publishers or authors. In those instances the prizes are not sent to us for distribution; the publisher or author sends the prize(s) directly to the contest winner(s). [To be honest, this is just another strategy we use to attract suckers willing donors.]
5. This site has links which take readers to Amazon.com. If someone clicks on an Amazon link and then proceeds to purchase items via that link, the site owner receives a small commission. [Times are tough. Some of our investments have not been as lucrative as we expected. Who knew Enron would tank?]
6. The commission fees or free books received by us will never influence the content, topics or posts made at this site. [Sure, we're blood-sucking predators but we DO have an ethical code.]
